Crypto analyst Xaif (@Xaif_Crypto) recently drew attention to two notable upcoming events that will “definitely send XRP to $50.” Xaif pointed to a potential BlackRock XRP exchange-traded fund (ETF) filing and a settlement between Ripple and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). XRP Army Responds One community member emphasized that the legal framework surrounding cryptocurrencies is a major factor to look out for, stating , “Everyone is waiting for the Crypto Laws and Regs.” Ripple has constantly pushed for regulatory clarity in the form of proper and sensible crypto regulation, and many market participants are convinced this would pave the way for massive growth. Another commenter agreed that new laws and regulations passed by Congress would be the true catalyst. He noted that institutions require regulatory clarity before making significant moves, and mass institutional adoption would be a game changer for XRP. Some investors expressed cautious optimism. One commenter stated that while he hopes XRP can reach as high as $50, he sees $10 as a more realistic target. Others were more bullish, believing these developments signal a transformative shift. A supporter stated , “A BlackRock XRP ETF and an SEC settlement aren’t just events—they’re confirmation that the floodgates are about to open.” He believes $50 is just the beginning, and the real move will be bigger than most people expect. Evaluating the Feasibility of a $50 XRP Reaching a $50 valuation would require a substantial increase in market capitalization. One skeptic pointed out that a $50 XRP would imply a market cap between $2 trillion and $3 trillion, questioning the feasibility of such a leap in the near term. Based on this analysis, he believes the asset will reach between $7 and $15. However, a notable expert recently debunked the market cap myth and predicted that the asset could climb to $33, making the $50 target more feasible. Another user speculated that BlackRock might consider an XRP ETF when the asset hits $50, but not before. Multiple companies have applied for XRP ETFs and received acknowledgment from the SEC , but BlackRock has stayed silent. The user suggested the asset could reach this level by 2026/27, paving the way for the highly sought-after BlackRock ETF and even more growth. With the Ripple lawsuit now nearing its end , the community is hopeful that Black Rock may apply for an ETF and draw more institutional investors into the ecosystem. While some see $50 as a lofty target, many experts have shown that the asset can climb even higher under the right circumstances.
