While it is almost certain that altcoins such as Solana (SOL) and XRP will also receive ETF approval in addition to BTC and ETH with Donald Trump becoming president, Ripple President Monica Long created new excitement in the crypto world and said that spot XRP ETF approval in the US is on the horizon. Speaking to Bloomberg, Monica Long said that the XRP ETF will be approved thanks to the positive crypto regulations developing in the US. Stating that the number of companies applying for XRP ETF is increasing, Long said that XRP will be in the first place: “I think we will see a spot XRP ETF very soon. I think there will be more crypto ETFs coming out of the US this year. At this point, I think XRP will be first in line after Bitcoin and Ethereum. We expect approvals for XRP and other altcoin ETF applications to accelerate, especially with the change in governance.” Apart from his expectations for XRP ETFs, Ripple’s chairman Long also spoke about their new product, Ripple’s stablecoin RLUSD. He added that he expects RLUSD to be available on more exchanges soon and become an important part of the firm’s payment and money business. XRP is up more than 300% since Trump’s victory as expectations for the XRP ETF continue to rise. *This is not investment advice. Continue Reading: Bold Prediction for Ripple!
