‘The only one not convinced is you’ — Pro-XRP CEO Yoshitaka Kitao scolds Japanese PM on high crypto tax rates

The CEO of financial services conglomerate SBI Holdings has criticized Japan’s prime minister (PM) regarding the government’s absurd crypto tax rates. Yoshitaka Kitao, a proponent of the XRP ecosystem, said in a recent interview that Shigeru Ishiba is the “only one who is not convinced” about lowering rates to 20%. Kitao’s stance on XRP Yoshitaka Kitao has become an influential figure not only in Japanese finance in general, but also when it comes to the world of cryptocurrencies, thanks to his company’s involvement with Ripple and XRP.
