Tucker Carlson accuses Biden of trying to kill Putin and sabotage Trump ahead of trade negotiations

Controversial journalist Tucker Carlson has today accused the Biden administration of attempting to assassinate Russian President Vladimir Putin to sabotage US President Donald Trump’s economic and geopolitical plans. Speaking on his show on Jan. 27, Tucker said , “Former Secretary of State Tony Blinken was so vocal that he was pushing for a real war, like killing Putin. What the Biden administration did was try to kill Putin.” The journalist also alleged that the entire war was nothing but a deliberate strategy for Biden’s team, describing it as their “protective screen.” Allegations pile up Notably, Tucker did not provide any further details or concrete evidence to back up his horrific claims, leaving us to question the specifics of the alleged assassination plot and whether it’s even actually true. The fact of the matter is Tucker has been a proud and loud supporter of President Putin for many years. Most recently, they hung out at the Kremlin in early 2024 where he interviewed him and the whole world got to see Putin in a way it never had. Tucker’s allegations come amid rising economic and geopolitical tensions between the United States and Russia. In August 2024, Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov publicly alleged that Ukraine’s special services were actively planning to assassinate Putin and Defense Minister Andrei Belousov. According to the allegations, Belousov personally reached out to US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, urging him to stop Kyiv’s alleged plans. While Kyiv has denied direct involvement in any assassination plots, Moscow’s rhetoric has consistently pointed fingers at the US and its allies for “indirect encouragement.” Meanwhile, Donald Trump has stepped into the scene just days into his second term as US president. On January 22, Trump called for immediate peace talks between Russia and Ukraine, labeling the war as “ridiculous.” But Trump didn’t mince words when issuing a warning to Putin. “If we don’t make a ‘deal,’ and soon, I have no other choice but to put high levels of Taxes, Tariffs, and Sanctions on anything being sold by Russia to the United States, and various other participating countries,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. The next day, Trump doubled down during a Fox News interview, saying that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had expressed readiness to negotiate. Trump’s comments took a sharp turn when he referred to Zelenskyy as “no angel,” adding, “He shouldn’t have allowed this war to happen.” Cryptopolitan Academy: How to Write a Web3 Resume That Lands Interviews - FREE Cheat Sheet
