As XRP’s community digests reports of the long-running case with the SEC coming to an end, a wave of positive fundamentals loom on the horizon. Brad Garlinghouse Expects XRP To Join The Digital Asset Stockpile In an interview with Bloomberg, Brad Garlinghouse expressed full optimism for XRP to make the cut for the US Digital Asset Stockpile. According to the Ripple Labs CEO, the shuttering of the case against the SEC offers a clear path for XRP to join the stockpile. In early March, US President Trump signed an executive order establishing the Digital Asset Stockpile and a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve . While an earlier post by President Trump on Truth Social namechecked XRP, the official executive order made no mention of the cryptocurrency, sparking fears of a potential exclusion. Garlinghouse downplayed speculation of an exclusion while reiterating a firm belief in XRP’s inclusion. He hinged his belief on Trump’s post on Truth Social and his attendance at the White House Crypto Summit. When quizzed on how the US will get XRP for its stockpile, Brad Garlinghouse theorized that confiscated assets will form the bulk of holdings. XRP ETFs Will Come In The Second Half Of 2025 Alongside his predictions for the Digital Asset Stockpile, Garlinghouse is eyeing the imminent approvals of XRP ETFs. In his interview, the Ripple co-founder is eyeing a wave of approvals by the US SEC in the second half of 2025. “I have immense confidence in the ETFs,” said Garlinghouse. “I think those will be live in the second half of the year.” At the moment, there is a laundry list of XRP ETF applications on the desk of the SEC ranging from Bitwise To Franklin Templeton. Garlinhouse says XRP ETPs outside the US have gathered significant steam while recording impressive inflows. Following the SEC dropping XRP’s case , the asset is currently trading at 2.51%, gaining an impressive 11% in hours. Daily trading volumes have surged by 166%, while XRP traders are facing liquidation risks following a wave of leveraged long positions.
