WLFI Hints at Continued Relationship With Binance Founder CZ, as he is popularly called, gave his industry expertise advice to the WLFI team on April 27 during a high-profile meeting in Abu Dhabi. They discussed strategies to push global crypto adoption and ways to raise the industry’s standards. According to the team, this meeting with CZ is “only the beginning” of a broader collaboration, suggesting that more such meetings will follow soon. For WLFI, this meeting will be instrumental in its expansion beyond the United States and a means of aligning itself with top crypto industry players. Binance Founder Frowns at Unfounded Rumors On the other hand, the Binance founder pointed to the possibility that mainstream media houses will create a negative story about his meeting with WLFI. “I have a feeling the traditional media will try to make up some negative story about this,” Zhao wrote on X . His statement comes from previous events where he has had to debunk speculations and rumors about a potential business deal with the Trump family. This particular rumor was tied to Binance.US, the American division of the leading Binance crypto exchange. However, he swiftly refuted the claims, citing that they were untrue. In turn, CZ accused the rumor peddlers of undermining the US president and the broader crypto industry. WLFI Bags Collaboration and Other Expansion Deals As part of its expansion effort, World Liberty Financial (WLFI) recently signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with the Pakistan Crypto Council (PCC) . This marked a boost for crypto in the South Asian country of Pakistan. It also marks a way to fast-track blockchain in the country. Specifically, WLFI’s role is to drive the adoption of stablecoin and DeFi integration across Pakistan. WLFI’s expansion extends beyond partnerships. It added 4.89 million SEI tokens, which were estimated to be $0.775 million at the time, to its holdings. It also secured $250 million from investors as part of its public token sale.
