Robert Kiyosaki , author of the best-selling personal finance book ‘ Rich Dad Poor Dad’, has long based his investment philosophy on real assets, consistently dismissing fiat currencies as ‘fake money.’ In 2025, his favored assets have delivered mixed results. Gold and silver have maintained their upward momentum, reaching new all-time highs, while Bitcoin ( BTC ) has faced heightened volatility, trading mostly sideways or trending downward. Despite recent market volatility, Kiyosaki remains committed to the trio, with the author planning to continue building his own ‘standard’ around the assets to weather what he calls the ‘ DOGE CHAINSAW MASSACRE ’—his term for the Trump administration’s economic policy. While Bitcoin’s short-term losses have weighed on overall returns, the strength of gold and silver supports Kiyosaki’s long-standing view of hard assets as a hedge against inflation and financial instability.
