Ethena Expands to TON Wallets, Unlocks Dollar Savings

Ethena has launched directly on the TON blockchain, bringing access to USDe and tsUSDe across major Telegram-linked wallets. The move now puts dollar savings and staking rewards within reach of over 1 billion users globally. Ethena Enters the TON Ecosystem with USDe and tsUSDe As announced , the arrival of Ethena on the TON blockchain means Telegram users can now access stable dollar savings through USDe and earn extra rewards by staking it for tsUSDe. This integration has been rolled out across key TON wallets such as TON Space Wallet on Telegram, MyTonWallet, TonHub, and TonKeeper. Users can now buy, bridge, or withdraw USDe into these wallets. They can then stake USDe into tsUSDe directly within the app to begin earning rewards every eight hours. The staking process varies slightly between wallets. For example, in TON Space, users are directed to a section within the wallet that allows them to begin staking. In TonHub, users click through the Earnings section, while MyTonWallet offers an “Earn” button. TonKeeper users access the staking option through a separate staking app built by StonFi. With USDe and tsUSDe fully supported, Ethena is now embedded in a communication app that already serves over 1 billion people. This gives Ethena a unique path to mainstream usage without requiring users to leave their everyday apps. It is worth noting that this update coincides with Telegram’s entry into DeFi, as the TON Foundation partners with Libre to launch a $500 million bond fund. 16-Week Campaign Offers Up to 18% APY As part of the launch, Ethena has introduced a 16-week reward campaign. Users who stake at least 10 tsUSDe and hold 10 TON tokens in supported wallets will be eligible for boosted annual percentage yields (APY). The campaign starts with an additional 10% APY for the first four weeks. This bonus will gradually reduce to 5% by the end of the campaign, but it will be on top of the regular 8% APY offered by tsUSDe. There is a limit to how much the bonus rate can be. Only up to 10,000 tsUSDe per wallet will qualify. Anything beyond that will still earn the base reward. This makes the offer appealing to both small and mid-level holders. Clear Options to Access and Stake USDe There are three key ways users can get USDe on TON. They can bridge it from Ethereum or other chains through Stargate, buy it directly on TON using USDT or other assets within wallets, or withdraw from exchanges like ByBit, MEXC, BitGet, and Gate. Once received, users can stake it for tsUSDe in their wallets to begin earning. This launch makes Ethena savings easily available inside wallets tied to Telegram, bringing stable earnings to users with a simple in-app experience. Meanwhile, on an operational level, as a DeFi platform, Ethena recently announced that, under pressure from German regulators, it will shut down all operations in the country .
