Roger Ver, known as an early supporter of Bitcoin, reached out to former US President Donald Trump on Twitter, asking for help in preventing his possible extradition to the United States. Ver claimed he could be extradited from Spain earlier this evening, where he could face up to 109 years in prison. The charges stem from allegations that Ver failed to report capital gains from Bitcoin sales in 2017 and underreported the value of his Bitcoin holdings when he renounced his U.S. citizenship in 2014.
