Bill Morgan Notes A Key Detail In reaction to this news, attorney Bill Morgan pointed out an important detail. He revealed that the SEC’s decision to delay the XRP ETF approval until June 17, 2025, comes just after the deadline for the SEC to file a status update in its appeal against Ripple. That update is due 60 days after a court order issued on April 16, 2025. This timing shows the SEC might be waiting to see how the Ripple case progresses before making any decisions about the ETF.
