The Silicon Valley venture capitalist previously served as PayPal’s chief operating officer (COO) and has made high-profile investments in AirBnB, Palantir, Postmates, Reddit, Slack, SpaceX, Twitter, Uber and other big-name tech companies. He’s also a crypto supporter. Atkins is Trump’s new pick to chair the SEC. He’s a former SEC commissioner and the current chief executive of Patomak Global Partners, a financial services consultancy firm.
