With XRP currently priced at $2.69, acquiring this amount would require an investment of approximately $6,727.7. The number of wallets that meet this threshold has grown significantly, with 617,768 wallets currently classified within this category. In September 2024, only 531,558 wallets were in the top 10% , and the digital asset traded around $0.5. Current data shows that 9,122 XRP is the minimum amount needed to enter this category. At the current price, this equals an investment of around $24,538.18. Farina recently stated that not holding at least 1,000 XRP is insanity, and has also recommended that investors hold up to 10,000 XRP to have better profit-taking opportunities as prices increase. If the asset reaches $100, those holding 10,000 XRP could become millionaires. The Wealthiest XRP Holders – The Top 1% The threshold is considerably higher for those aiming for the most elite category. Farina said reaching the top 1% of XRP holders requires at least 53,212 XRP. With the $2.69 per token, acquiring this amount would cost approximately $143,139. Presently, only 61,777 wallets hold 53,212 XRP or more, reinforcing the exclusivity of this group. Farina also advised self-custody to avoid being priced out and hold for the long term, instead of leaving with just 2x or 3x gains.
