Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) announced that he will personally contribute several hundred BNB of liquidity to the winning projects of the Memecoin Liquidity Support Program on BNB Chain until the allocated funds are fully utilized. The move comes after BNB Chain’s $4.4 million liquidity support initiative aimed at encouraging growth in the meme coin ecosystem. CZ noted that the program’s rules could be adjusted to accommodate larger volumes of tokens and support could be expanded beyond just memecoins. In a post addressing speculations about interactions with his wallet, CZ made it clear that he will not be refunding any funds sent to the designated address. I will not do that,” he said. He also emphasized that he does not support any tokens, explaining that any tokens sent to his wallet will either be left untouched or burned. CZ also rejected the idea of selling these tokens for BNB, citing concerns over the potential price impact and additional workload it would create. “I usually choose to do the least amount of work,” he added, adding that he can change his approach at any time, depending on his availability. *This is not investment advice.
