Speaking on the subject, Hines stated that the administration is determined to fulfill its election campaign promises, especially in the establishment of the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve (SBR). According to Hines, the initiative aims to acknowledge Bitcoin’s unique characteristics while also embracing innovations in the broader digital asset space. “We wanted to make sure we did it right in a way that respected Bitcoin for what it is uniquely, but also gave credence to innovations in the digital asset space and other areas,” he said.
