For years, the computer scientist has maintained that he created Bitcoin, eventually going to court in a bid to prove he is Satoshi Nakamoto. However, the High Court of England and Wales found Wright to be an impersonator, forcing him to admit that he is not Satoshi Nakamoto. This comes as the court said that Wright’s evidence were full of lies in a bid to make people believe he created Bitcoin, going as far as forging documents to do so. The court found Wright’s actions to be “a most serious abuse,” and has put measures in place to forbid Wright from entering any more legal proceedings in his claim to be the Bitcoin creator.
