Floki, a memecoin project, has launched a debit card with no fees. This card allows users in 31 European countries to spend their cryptocurrency easily. As reported by Coindesk, the card supports popular coins like Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), USD Coin (USDC), Tether (USDT), Binance Coin (BNB), and FLOKI. Benefits of Floki Debit Card Notably, Floki gives users two options: a physical card for $33 and a virtual card for just over $10. Although there are no transaction fees, a 2% fee applies when you add tokens to your spending account. This new feature allows FLOKI holders and other crypto users to easily spend their crypto at millions of merchants worldwide without the usual challenges of converting crypto to cash. The biggest memecoin brand also plans to offer a VIP card for users who spend more. This card will allow higher limits of up to $50,000 per day and $250,000 per month. Meanwhile, Floki’s lead developer stated that the debit cards will not be available in areas restricted by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) or banks. This ensures compliance with global rules while making it easier for users access. Floki’s card launch will help increase the use of its token and connect it to real-world finances. The card will first be available in Europe. However, Floki also plans to offer it in other regions, strengthening its position in the global cryptocurrency market. Visa and Coinbase Partner to Simplify Crypto Transactions Recently, Visa and Coinbase partnered to simplify crypto transactions, allowing users with eligible Visa debit cards to make real-time deposits and withdrawals on Coinbase. The collaboration targets customers in the United States and the European Union, granting instant access to funds deposited on the Coinbase platform. Through this partnership , Coinbase customers can deposit funds instantly and purchase crypto using their Visa debit cards. Once transactions are complete, users can cash out to a bank account in real-time, depending on their specific bank and region. This functionality represents a convenient upgrade for users who rely on traditional banks, aligning with Visa’s goal of strengthening the intersection between crypto and mainstream finance.
