According to Galaxy Digital Research Manager Alex Thorn, Bitcoin Will See These Levels in 2025! Here Are the Details

Bitcoin (BTC) is set for a significant rally in 2025, with its price expected to surpass $150,000 in the first half of the year and rise to $185,000 in the fourth quarter, according to Alex Thorn, head of research at Galaxy Digital. Galaxy Digital Predicts Bitcoin to Surpass $150,000 in H1 2025 and Reach $185,000 by Q4 Thorn shared these views in a report published on CNBC, highlighting the role of corporate, institutional, and nation-state adoption in Bitcoin’s expected price increase. “Bitcoin has outperformed the S&P 500 and gold, appreciating faster than any other asset class since its inception,” Thorn said. “This trend is expected to continue through 2025, with Bitcoin’s market cap expected to reach 20% of gold’s.” The report predicts that total assets under management (AUM) of U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) will exceed $250 billion by 2025. Additionally, Thorn expects at least five Nasdaq-100 companies and five nation-states to add Bitcoin to their balance sheets or wealth funds. Galaxy Digital's forecast reflects growing optimism about Bitcoin's long-term potential as a store of value and a hedge against traditional financial systems. The expected influx of participation at the institutional and national level could further solidify Bitcoin’s position as a globally recognized digital asset. *This is not investment advice.
