Babylon to Launch Phase-2 Testnet with Signet Bitcoin and Babylon Token on January 8, 2025; AyaLabs V2 Beta Also Live

Babylon is set to launch its Phase-2 testnet, known as bbn-test-5, on January 8, 2025. This testnet will utilize the Babylon Proof of Stake (PoS) chain and will incorporate Signet Bitcoin and Babylon Token for simulation testing, which will involve only simulated tokens. The announcement was made by various sources, confirming the details of the launch. In related news, AyaLabs has also announced the launch of its V2 Beta, marking a significant step in its platform's development as it enters active testing. Additionally, the Nethermind Client will support the Holocene upgrade for the Optimism mainnet Superchain and Base mainnet, scheduled for January 9, 2025, at 6 PM UTC, which is a mandatory upgrade for all nodes operating on these networks.
