Bitcoin miners have recently scaled back their sales activity following a period in which they took advantage of the market rally to cover operational costs, according to the company. Alphractal noted that the Bitcoin Miner Selling Pressure metric, which compares BTC outflows to average reserves over time, shows a decrease in liquidations, suggesting that less BTC is being dumped by miners and that overall supply pressure in the market is decreasing. “Following a period of heavy selling, values are currently trading below average, indicating a tightening of miner-sourced supply,” the firm said.
