A User on the Ethereum Network Burned Millions of Dollars of ETH by Sharing Spooky Messages: “Brain Control Machine…”

An Ethereum user burned more than 600 ETH and donated nearly $2 million to WikiLeaks while publishing a series of bizarre on-chain messages alleging mind control technology and mind manipulation crimes. At 9:39 AM today, the user sent 500 ETH ($1.38 million) to an irreversible Ethereum null address, permanently removing the funds from circulation. The transaction contained a message that, when translated from Chinese, accused Kuande Investment (WizardQuant), a China-based hedge fund, of using mind-machine weapons to control and torture employees. “Kuande Investment's bosses Feng Xin and Xu Yuzhi used their brain-machine weapons to torture all company employees and former employees. Even they themselves are under control,” the mysterious message read. This isn’t the first time a user has burned Ethereum to spread similar claims. Over the past few weeks, the user has burned through 603.38 ETH ($1.67 million) in multiple transactions, each accompanied by cryptic warnings about brain-machine interfaces and mind-reading technology. Feb. 15: Burned 70.36 ETH ($194,000) after claiming that wild animals were being turned into digital machine slaves through mind-reading technology. February 10: 33.03 ETH ($91,000) was burned in a similar alert. In addition to burning the funds, the user also made significant donations to WikiLeaks, transferring a total of 711.52 ETH ($1.97 million) from OKX and Binance-linked wallets, according to Etherscan data. The latest donation of 591.62 ETH ($1.63 million) was sent at 10:13 AM today, along with a message identifying the user as Hu Lezhi, describing himself as an ordinary programmer and entrepreneur suffering from long-term mind control: “Since October 2022, I have realized that I have been monitored and manipulated by a mind control organization since birth. When I became aware of their existence, they intensified the damage they were doing to me. The past two years have been extremely painful and I have now lost all my dignity as a human being. I have decided to leave this world and hope that this ugly world will soon disappear.” Another donation earlier today included a message claiming that military forces around the world are using nano-brain-machine chips and radio signals to control citizens. *This is not investment advice.
