Fox Business journalist Eleanor Terrett cleared the rumors that have been spreading that the U.S. SEC might be considering dropping its appeal against Ripple. Will it or Will Not? Legal Experts Weigh In on SEC’s Approach The speculation began after the SEC’s Crypto Task Force recently held a closed-door meeting with legal experts Jason Gottlieb, Andrew Hinkes, and J.W. The experts noted that the SEC called some cryptocurrencies securities without clear court approval. They also pointed out that judges have not fully agreed with the SEC’s stance on crypto transactions. This goes against the SEC’s claims and weakens its argument in the case.
