Binance Futures will launch BR and PLUME USDT-margined perpetual contracts following Binance’s Bedrock token generation event and YZi’s investment in Plume. According to a recent notice , the crypto exchange will launch BRUSDT Perpetual Contract and PLUMEUSDT ( USDT ) Perpetual Contract. Both perpetual contracts will be available on Binance Futures starting March 21, with the BRUSDT launching first at 12:45 UTC and the AEROUSDT perpetual contract releasing at 13:00 UTC. Both perpetual contracts will be offered with up to 25x leverage and supported for multi-assets mode. The maximum financing rate for BRUSDT and PLUMEUSDT perpetual contracts at launch will be +2.00% and -2.00%. The funding fee calculation frequency will occur every four hours. Just a day prior, Binance had announced that it would hold an exclusive token generation event for Bedrock on PancakeSwap ( CAKE ). The event took place on March 20 from 10:00 AM UTC to 12:00 PM UTC. Eligible users received a total of 50 million BR, or 5% of the total token supply. Bedrock is a liquid restaking protocol built on BNB Smart Chain that enables Bitcoin ( BTC ) staking through uniBTC. uniBTC lets traders earn rewards while maintaining liquidity through BTC. At press time, BR has gone up by more than 10% in the past 24 hours of trading. The token is currently trading hands at $0.17, having gone down 12.7% from its previous peak at $0.19. Unfortunately, Binance Future’s announcement has only led to the token slipping by nearly 6% in the past hour. However, it has been going down by nearly 10% in the past day. Plume’s native token is currently trading hands at $0.204. On March 17, Binance’s investment arm, YZi Labs, announced that it has invested in Plume Network, a modular blockchain designed to bring real-world assets on-chain. According to YZi’s announcement, Plume has over 18 million wallets participating in its testnet and partnered with over 180 protocols.
