Its CEO is a Bitcoin Skeptic, But the Company’s BTC Holdings Surprised Everyone: Goldman Sachs Revealed How Much Bitcoin It Owns

US investment giant Goldman Sachs announced that it owns 30.8 million shares in BlackRock’s spot Bitcoin ETF IBIT, according to its latest 13F filing as of March 31. The total value of these shares is around $1.4 billion. The company also has a $250 million position in Fidelity’s spot Bitcoin ETF FBTC, with 3.47 million shares. Goldman Sachs’ IBIT position increased by 6.8 million compared to the previous report in December 2023. There was no significant change in the FBTC position. This increase occurred in January, February or March, when Bitcoin experienced a price decline.
