Nasdaq-listed Tech Company Plans to Purchase $50 Million Worth of This Altcoin

Digital ophthalmic technology company Eyenovia announced that it has signed a $50 million private equity investment (PIPE) agreement with institutional investors. With this funding, the company plans to create a cryptocurrency reserve by purchasing HYPE, the native token of the Hyperliquid blockchain, and change the company's name to “Hyperion DeFi.” Its new ticker symbol will be “HYPD.” Eyenovia has also appointed Hyunsu Jung as Chief Investment Officer (CIO) and Board Member to lead its crypto treasury strategy.
